This is a 3D Painter that lets you paint into a bitmap or vertex colors. The bitmap painter is implemented as a material while the vertex painter is implemented as modifier. Other than that they both have the same painter tools and behave the same way.

AF Pseudo Reflect gives you an alternative method of reflection mapping which can be useful for metallic objects with flat surfaces. It gives a much better result on flat surfaces than the standard Max Environment mapping, as well as giving full control over the look of the reflection map. It also includes a mental ray shader.

This is a set of materials to help reach the aim of lighting from the environment rather than with synthetic lights. The materials include:
- Spherical Harmonics: a group of mathematical functions that can be used to encode simple diffuse lighting into your material
- Spherical Harmonics Stack: combines a number of cgShaders together into one super spherical harmonic
- Ambient Occlusion: can be used with an environment as a form of environment based lighting
- Normal Light Map: can be used to represent the diffuse pass for the lighting, which is very quick
- Exposure: works the same as any image adjustment function, all calculation is done in floating space
- Reflect: a way of adding a custom environment to your reflections
- Add: a legacy shader for simply adding the result of a number of maps

Chroma.dlt is a new texture map for Max that allows you to create a rough chromakey from any other map. The chromakey mask can be used inside the viewport and at render-time. Its main targeted use is for previewing blue-/greenscreen composites inside Max. This can be useful for projects with set extensions, for example, since you directly see the image composition inside your viewport. The chromakey is calculated on the fly, so you can use any image/image sequence without having to pre-calculate a key with a compositing software.
